Description
Longrow 17 Years Old Single Cask Fourcroy 2002 is a great single cask bottling of Longrow, Springbank’s heavily peated single malt, specially selected and bottled for Fourcroy. The whisky was distilled in October 2002 and matured for 17 years in a fresh sherry hogshead. It was bottled in November 2019 at 49.4%. Longrow was first distilled in 1973 to provide a peaty, oily and robust component to blends. The whisky soon became popular on its own and has been a staple in the production calendar since the 1990s. The malt for Longrow is peat-dried for up to 48 hours to give the whisky a unique Campbeltown-style smoky character. One of 264 bottles.
