The evening is defined by one undisputed unicorn: the Macallan-Glenlivet 25 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail, imported by Pinerolo in the 1970s.
In the world of rare spirits, the most prized bottlings in history are often the Italian independent imports from this golden era, such as those from Pinerolo and Samaroli.
