An extremely rare and stunning 18-year-old Yamazaki Japan single malt with individual bottle numbering for the Japanese market, which was bottled around 2005-2007 and can now be described as a special rarity without question.This multi-award-winning Japanese 18 Years Yamazaki Single Malt Whisky is made from only the finest and most original ingredients, which are transformed into a wonderfully harmonious single malt during the skilful distillation process.
For its exceptional quality and special flavour experience, the 18 years Yamazaki Japan Single Malt Whisky was awarded 88.5 out of 100 points in Jim Murray s Whisky Bible back in 2010. This was followed by further awards such as best whisky: double gold 2008-2013 at the San Francisco World Spirit Competitions, ISC Trophy 2012, Trophy at the International Wine and Spirit Competition 2011, World Whisky Awards 2015 as best Japanese Single Malt Whisky and many more. The 18 years Yamazaki Japan Single Malt is a highly esteemed and award-winning whisky worldwide. It is mainly matured in sherry casks, which gives it deep, dark fruit flavours with sultanas, apricot, blackberry jam, chocolate and a distinct oak spice. The exquisite Mizunara note of the rare Japanese Mizunara oak is also present and wonderfully integrated. The finish is very complex, rich and extremely long.
