The Balvenie 17 Year Old DoubleWood is a masterful expression of the craft, following the same maturation process as its younger 12-year-old sibling but with an added depth and complexity gained from five additional years of aging.

• Dual Cask Maturation: Initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, which impart soft sweet vanilla notes, before being transferred to European oak sherry casks for a finishing period that adds rich spicy flavors and depth.
• Heritage: Produced at the Balvenie Distillery in Speyside, which remains one of the few distilleries to still grow its own barley and employ a traditional malting floor.
