From the windswept dunes of Fukiagehama on the Kagoshima coast comes a new seasonal release in Japanese whisky: the Kanosuke Single Malt 2026 Limited Edition. Marking the first February release in the series, this expression was crafted to accompany the beginning of the year with the brightness and delicacy of early spring.

The theme centers on the refreshing scent of Hamagou (beach vitex) and the gentle sea breeze that signals spring’s arrival at the Kanosuke Distillery. Rather than capturing a single dramatic moment, the blenders sought to bottle the everyday sensory landscape of this coastal distillery—the fresh shoots along the path, the salt air rising as you approach the shoreline, and the wide horizon of the East China Sea.
