Ichiro's Malt MWR (Mizunara Wood Reserve) is matured, vatted, and bottled at the Chichibu Distillery although this bottling is the chemistry of single malts from both Chichibu and Hanyu distilleries. The range is named after Ichiro Akuto, the grandson of the creator of Hanyu distillery. Although the distillery was dismantled in 2004, Ichiro saved the remaining 400 casks. This is the product of those. This bottle has been finished in Mizunara Wood Casks, more commonly known over here as Japanese Oak.
