Description
From Suntory's mountain distillery, found deep within the forests of Mount Kaikomagatake Hakushu is owned by Suntory, founders of the first Japanese distillery, Yamazaki. The original Hakushu distillery was built in 1973, with another distillery building called Hakushu Higashi (west) added in 1981. This 25 year old has been lauded from all corners of the whisky world from the Malt Maniacs to Jim Murray. Very few of these limited edition bottlings were produced. Sealed with a Mizuhiki, the five corded knot symbolising a joining of hands, this edition celebrates Japanese hospitality.
