Description
Glenburgie 14 Years Old Chieftain’s Oloroso Sherry Finish 2003 is a limited-edition single malt, bottled by Ian Macleod as part of the Chieftain’s range. The whisky was distilled in May 2003 and matured for 14 years. It was finished in an Oloroso sherry cask before being bottled in April 2018 at 46%. Glenburgie was founded in 1810 as the Kilnflat Distillery. It closed in 1870 after financial troubles, but reopened eight years later under the name Glenburgie-Glenlivet. The majority of Glenburgie’s production is used in Ballantine’s blended Scotch, making single malt bottlings rare. One of 398 bottles.
