'Dawn' is Bowmore finished in Ruby Port casks which contribute 'Grapes, plums, fig-rolls and blackcurrant' to the flavour profile according to the distillers. We are informed that this bottling was discontinued in January 2007 so these stocks represent what may well be your only chance to taste this unusual malt. 'Fabulous and markedly improved in recent years, this is a must have malt for any Islayophile.
