Bowmore 24 Years Old Frank Quitely Dragon’s Prey 2024 is a limited-edition Islay single malt, created as a collaboration between the Bowmore distillery and Scottish illustrator Frank Quitely, known for his work on Marvel and DC comics. The single malt aged for 24 years in carefully selected casks: Bordeaux red wine casks, Merlot-finished barriques, Manzanilla barrels and Oloroso sherry casks. It was bottled in 2024 at 50.7%. Inspired by the warrior’s quest to slay the dragon, Bowmore 24 Years Old Frank Quitely Dragon’s Prey 2024 offers a vibrant intensity that reveals itself in myriad dimensions. On the nose, richly sweet aromas contrast with orchard fruits and delicate dried flowers. Generous waves of fruity sweetness wash over the palate. The fruits then subside, revealing chestnuts and a crescendo of peat smoke on the finish. One of 8330 bottles.
