The 2023 release of 19-year-old single malt from Bladnoch distillery in the Scottish Lowlands has been exclusively aged in ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, carefully selected by master distiller Dr Nick Savage. The nose offers intriguing aromas of dark liquorice sticks and aged oak, joined on the palate by additional notes of dried apricots, almonds and nutmeg, with a dry sweetness on the finish.
