'A Day of Dark Barley' is the third in the series, and is bottled from single cask #6856. This was distilled in 1992 when an erroneous delivery of dark barely inspired an experiment that would eventually lead to the 14 year old Roasted Malt release in the mid-2000s. This cask was left to further mature until it was 26 years old. The Stories series includes 'The Sweet Toast of American Oak' and 'A Week of Peat.'
