Aultmore 18 Years Old. Chieftain’s Manzanilla Sherry Finish 1997

Aultmore’s single malt is generally brought to us by independent bottlers, as most of the distillery’s whisky is used for blends. This Aultmore 18 Years Old Chieftain’s Manzanilla Sherry Finish 1997 was bottled by the good folks at Ian Macleod as part of the limited-edition Chieftain’s collection. The single malt was distilled in May 1997. After a finish in a Manzanilla sherry cask, it was bottled in July 2015 at a cask strength of 55.3%. One of just 462 bottles.
