Kaiyō

Kaiyo (or Kaiyō) isn't a traditional distillery but a brand known for its unique Japanese whiskies, famous for maturing spirits in Mizunara oak casks and partly at sea for complex flavors. While it uses whisky from other Japanese producers (often "teaspooned" malt), Kaiyo adds its own distinct finish, creating smooth, maritime-influenced spirits with notes of oak, spice, and often a touch of peat.
