El Dorado is a brand of Demerara Distillers Limited that has its roots in 1670 in Guyana. The distillery, located near the capital Georgetown, showcases its history with photographs, old machines, and even a short documentary on how rum is made. You can witness all the ‘behind the scenes’ action that goes into making Guyana’s local rum – El Dorado. They are masters in skillfully coaxing out rich & diverse characters from within the spirit.
