Cristalino isn't a single distillery but a popular style of tequila: an aged (Añejo/Reposado) tequila that's filtered through activated charcoal to remove color, resulting in a crystal-clear spirit that offers the smoothness of a Blanco with the complex flavors of barrel aging (vanilla, caramel, wood notes). Pioneered by brands like Don Julio 70 (originally Añejo Claro) and popularized by many others like 1800 and Patron, Cristalino is a growing segment known for its unique blend of aged character and clarity, though not yet an official CRT category.
