About Carsebridge
Carsebridge Distillery was a significant Scottish grain whisky distillery in Alloa, founded around 1798 by John Bald, starting as a malt distillery before converting to grain in the 1850s with Coffey stills, becoming a huge DCL producer, and closing in 1983, with most buildings demolished in 1992, leaving behind valuable independent bottlings and a legacy as a lost Lowland grain powerhouse.
